about our Kura
Thorndon School is a full state primary school catering for children from Year 1 to Year 8.
Our school is ethnically and culturally diverse and has pupils from all over Wellington and a strong international programme.
We are located in the heart of Wellington, in the suburb of Thorndon, which means we are on the doorstep to the city, and all that's on offer.
We celebrate individuality, and our pastoral care for our tamariki shines through everything we do.
