Year 5/6 Team Leader Position (Permanent)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced teacher to step into a leadership role in our brand new, state of the art, Year 5/6 learning studio, Te Mahuri.

Would you like to play a part in a shift in educational practice, and support the development of our Modern Learning Practice (MLP)?  

The final stage of our school rebuild opened this year and we need someone to lead us forward in this new environment. 

This position would suit either upcoming or existing education leaders. (1) Team Leader of Y5/6, 2MU.  

Our ideal applicants would be positive, enthusiastic teachers who can step outside their comfort zone, empower students, listen to and guide their team. 

Your team will include yourself and two other teachers and a teacher aide.

Position commences in Term 1, 2020.

Anyone applying for this position will need to be prepared to work collaboratively as part of a team. Our school has recently been rebuilt and the teacher appointed to this position will be working in our beautiful new studio space with two other teachers. Our teams work collaboratively, planning and teaching together. Your teaching knowledge and experience will make a significant contribution to the performance of the team. You will be entering a very dynamic environment where the development and wellbeing of the students will be the priority.
