1.  Fixed-term, Scale A teacher Year 7/8. Decile 10. Roll 300. Full primary.

Do you love teaching students in their intermediate years? Are you passionate about creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment that meets the needs of 11 - 13 year-olds as they grow in independence?

We are offering the opportunity for a reflective practitioner to join a collaborative team of three teachers from the start of the year until 31 May due to the class teacher taking maternity leave. This position would suit a collaborative and confident, experienced teacher.  

Our ideal applicants would be positive, enthusiastic teachers who can step outside their comfort zone, empower students, and listen to and work alongside their team.                                                

Position commences in Term 1, 2018. School roll 315

 2.  Fixed-term, Scale A teacher Year 1/2

Position commences in 30 January 2018.

We are seeking to appoint a Fixed Term teacher to join the Year 1/2 Team of our kura from 30 January 2018, finishing at the end of 2018 (20 December). This vacancy has arisen on account of annual roll growth in this area of the school.

Anyone applying for this position will need to be prepared for some interesting challenges. By the time this position starts, our school will be underway with a long anticipated rebuild.  Your teaching knowledge and experience will make a significant contribution to sustaining a positive environment in quite challenging conditions. You will be entering a very dynamic environment where the development and wellbeing of the students will be paramount.  

It would be advantageous to have had some experience in teaching in the Junior area.
