Deputy Principal 4 MU

We are seeking to appoint a new Deputy Principal.

In this challenging role you will assist the Principal in guiding and supporting the staff, students and community through a period of rapid change. Our leadership team works collaboratively, inquiring and planning together. Your teaching knowledge and experience will make a significant contribution to developing an environment where all students prosper. You will have the opportunity to lead and contribute to the development of the school at large.

It would be advantageous, but not necessary, to have had some experience in teaching in the Year 1/2 area, as you will need to release a teacher in the Junior school to take Reading Recovery for 90 mins each day.  In this instance you will need to embrace collaborative teaching as during most periods of the day the teachers in this syndicate team teach together.
