1. New Entrant Scale A Position (Permanent) - Reception Class

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a teacher to step into a permanent role in our brand new, state of the art, Year 1/2 learning studio, Te Kakano.

Would you like to play a part in a shift in educational practice, and support the development of our Modern Learning Practice (MLP)?  

The final stage of our school rebuild is complete and we need someone to join us in our Year 1/2 team in this beautiful, new environment. 

Our ideal applicants would be caring, enthusiastic teachers who can step outside their comfort zone, empower students, listen to and contribute to their team. 

The team will include yourself and two other teachers and a teacher aide.

You are most welcome to book a visit to the school in advance of applying for this position.                                               

Position commences in Term 1, 2020.

Anyone applying for this position will need to be prepared to work as part of a team. Our teams work collaboratively, planning and teaching together. Your teaching knowledge and experience will make a significant contribution to the performance of your team. You will be entering a very dynamic environment where the development and wellbeing of the students will be the priority.

You will be the first face of the school for our newest students, so you will need to be a willing and effective communicator with parents and whanau, who shows care and kindness to our youngest students.
